Update 2022: Adidas has officially dropped its collaboration with Kanye. What that will do to the price of Yeezys is yet unclear, especially with all that is going on with Ye. We will keep you updated!

Overall it seems that Yeezys have dropped significantly in price, however, what we found is that the uber-expensive collectible pieces have gone up in price! Although rocking a pair of these may earn you some looks that you don’t want, collectible pieces are being snatched up by people who believe Yeezy’s value will skyrocket in the future.

Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Core Red [$400]

Also iconic in a bolder colorway, these Core Reds have been sold as high as $3,400 at its peak. These haven’t been spotted out in public worn by celebrities as much as the Moonrocks have, but they have been worn often enough.

The Moon Rocks have plummeted in price but at their highest, they were more expensive than even the 750s. Now, they’re still relatively expensive but they are comparable to some Air Jordan 1 prices. Classic clean look and worn by tons of everyday consumers, this style is here to stay.

Adidas Yeezy Boost 950M Duckboot Chocolate [$1,200]

Released in 2015 as a part of the Yeezy Season 1 collection. The original price retailed for $585, but Adidas has since stopped production on these Yeezys, skyrocketing the prices upwards. If you’re looking to get one of these at retail, Adidas does plan on re-releasing the 950 line in 2023, but it’s unclear what will be included in it. For now, you’ll have to pay resale value, but these boots are attainable if you want to simply get your hands on it.

You’ve probably seen these on a lot of celebrities’ feet throughout the years. The 750 line remains a highly popular one, and these Gray/Gum’s are no exception. It’s got a clean silhouette with a neutral color palette, perfect for a ton of wardrobes out there. To cop one is a bit out of reach for the average consumer out there, but it’s an icon in the shoe industry for sure.

Nike Air Yeezy 1 Zen Grey [$3,500]

And now we’re getting to the Nikes. It’s no surprise that the Nike versions of the Yeezys top the list. These shoes are going for a premium no doubt. Here we have the Zen Grey version of the Nike Air Yeezy, topping the list at #6. This was the very first Air Yeezy every produced and was debuted in 2009. Just a warning, the next five shoes that top the list are all Air Yeezys, but with different colorways. We don’t mind, we love them all. Hopefully you do too!

Nike Air Yeezy 2 NRG Black/Solar Red [$9,100]

This version of the Nike Air Yeezys has been worn by huge name celebrities in public, and it’s easy to see why. You can never go wrong with black, and it’s got a nice red accent around the ankle. However, if you were hoping to cop one of these, it’s got quite a hefty price tag. Not nearly as much as the next three on the list though. You’ll see soon enough.

Nike Air Yeezy 2 NRG Wolf Grey Pure Platinum [$10,500]

The NRG Wolf Grey Pure Platinum Yeezys haven’t been seen out in public worn by celebrities all that much. I could be wrong, but I think I know why. There’s nothing wrong with this shoe; it looks fantastic. There are a couple possible reasons why this shoe isn’t donned as much. One is that this model comes quite close to the Zen Greys in aesthetics. Hardcore sneakerheads may disagree with me. The second reason is that for this price tag, you could be getting a much more iconic shoe for a couple thousand more dollars. The Red October is that shoe, which we’ll be covering next.

Nike Air Yeezy 2 SP Red October [$15,000]

The Red Octobers might be the most talked about shoe on this entire list. It’s completely red, as the name suggests. This shoe had very sketch beginnings, as it was around this time that Kanye cut ties with Nike and had signed a deal with Adidas. Kanye didn’t know if the Red October would be released at all after his switcheroo, and to be fair, Nike probably wasn’t sure what to do with it at that point. When it was released, it was only online. And places were selling them for $10K+ a pop. Needless to say, there were a lot of speculative rumors about this shoe, and a lot of buzz around them.

Kanye West’s First Pair of Yeezys [$1.8M]

You’ve made it to the end of the list, the final shoe. This one blows all the other price tags off the face of the earth at $1.8M, and that’s not even just the going price. That was the actually price it was successfully sold at in a private sale. The shoes were worn by Kanye at the 50^th Annual Grammies back in 2008. No other shoe has been recorded to ever sell over $1M, not even pairs worn by Michael Jordan. Kanye has accomplished what no other artist has ever done, and that speaks volumes as to what Kanye has done to and for the sneakerhead community.
