Visible’s strength lies in the simplicity of its pricing structure. There are no deals to be had for multi-lines. Visible’s basic plan at $30 per month is cheaper than, for example, the cheapest Google Fi unlimited plan for a single member, which is $50 per month.

With the Visible standard plan, you get unlimited talk, text, and data along with 5G/4G LTE. You also get unlimited mobile hotspot and unlimited talk and text to Mexico and Canada.

With the Visible+ plan, you get everything in the standard plan plus 5G Ultra Wideband, international calls from the U.S. to over 30 countries, and international texting from the U.S. to over 200 countries.

Of note, Visible used to have a Party Pay feature that allowed a user to bring their cost all the way down to $25 by joining a Party that could include family, friends, and even online strangers. Unfortunately, they have recently done away with this feature completely and we now have the above two plans only at the moment.

The Visible plans were designed with individual users in mind, making it less suitable for families. As such, you won’t be able to receive a discount on multi-line orders.

How Fast is Visible Wireless?

On top of that, Verizon is one of the few providers that provides true 5G data and doesn’t throttle speeds after a certain amount of data is used for the month.

Unfortunately, this is one of Visible’s weakest points, with the team’s phone customer service often being sub-par. Indeed, many past customers experience hours of waiting times – often to be cut off after having waited for so long – and this can result in many customers feeling frustrated or infuriated at the lack of support.

What’s more, while the fully online nature of Visible can make it easy to order your new phone, this does mean that there aren’t even any Visible staff in store for you to meet in person. As such, if you ever need support with your Visible contract, you might find yourself somewhat alone.

Does Visible Wireless Offer Good Value for Money?

At this point, we should briefly consider whether Visible Wireless provides good value for money for the price. Regarding mobile phone coverage, the Visible Wireless plans are certainly pretty generous, offering quite a lot of data access for the price.

However, it’s well worth considering that Visible’s coverage can every so often be unreliable due to data deprioritization, which could leave your coverage hazy at best. It’s also worth considering that data usage on the Visible network, though technically unlimited, is capped by features such as maximum video streaming quality and the like.

As such, you may not be able to use your data in exactly the way you’d like to – and it’s important to consider whether this would influence your final decision.

Keep in mind that all MVNOs can experience some service delays and issues. In order to save significant amount of money, it may not be a bad trade-off. MVNOs piggyback off of major networks, and connection issues are to be expected.
